5-Star Rating

by Marketing

McBride Orthopedic Hospital has a  5-Star rating from CMS Hospital Compare website  for the second year in a row.

CMS released its Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating program on its Hospital Compare website. According to  Kate Goodrich, MD, director of the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality, the ratings were released “to help millions of patients and their families learn about the quality of hospitals, compare facilities in their area side-by-side, and ask important questions about care quality when visiting a hospital or other healthcare provider.”1

The Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating uses up to 64 measures previously posted on the Hospital Compare site and calculates them into a star rating of one to five stars (five being the best). The overall rating shows how well each hospital performs, on average, compared to other hospitals in the United States. Hospitals must meet minimum reporting requirements to be eligible for a star rating.

McBride Orthopedic Hospital is one of only four Oklahoma hospitals to receive a 5-Star overall rating.
