How do I get my prescription refilled?

To request refills, please call your pharmacy. Be sure and have your prescription number ready for the pharmacist. The pharmacy will fax your physician for authorization to refill the prescription.

We require 24 hours for telephone authorization of a refill, so please plan ahead when your supply is low. Have your pharmacy's telephone number available when you call the physician's office about a prescription concern.

If you use a mail order pharmacy, please have the name of the medication, strength and how often you take it available when you call the physician's office to request a new prescription.

What if my treatment is not working?

Your medical condition may require several visits or treatments before a medical problem is resolved. After your appointment, if your problem does not respond to treatment, or if your symptoms worsen, it is important to contact your physician for further instructions, even if it is not yet time for your follow-up visit.

Contact McBride Orthopedic Hospital Clinic at 405-230-9000.
